Ngā Rākau e Rua tamariki have taken on board the ? whakatara - Mahuru Māori! Māori language advocate Paraone Gloyne started the movement that sees participants speak only in te reo during September (Mahuru). Tamariki and kaiako had heaps of fun with this! Teachers have taken the knowledge gained and implemented exciting experiences for their children.
Te Reo Māori workshops have been run to promote staff teaching words, phrases and games to implement into their classrooms. We have had kahoots, cooperative games, learning new skills, songs and trying new foods!
